July’s Coventry Magic blogs are called “Cleaning up the Junk from Bad Ideas”  and has been inspired by  excerpts from Coventry Magic by Jacki Smith.

Just to recap: For 2015, we are dedicating ourselves to unleashing your personal power. Since this is no overnight task, we have broken it down month by month. June we talk about the challenges of road block and other spiritual blocks that get in your way from the progress you have tried so hard to make.  There will be a new instalment every week.  These blogs are really just a summary of the real exercises found in Coventry Magic by Jacki Smith, for more detailed explanation, I recommend checking out the entire book.

What are your Obstacles?

what are your obstaclesIf you have achieved the very difficult and have managed to recognize and start to eliminate your negative patterns you have done an amazing thing and you should give yourself the props you deserve. You will start to see clearly the people or situations in your life that have either helped you remain in your negative holding or are just down right caused of them.

To be able to make an effect change towards your goals or new life style you now need to be able to identify what are your obstacles that will get in the way of your progress. These road blocks could be a physical thing like a broken down car, could be a unhealthy relationship or perhaps a financial one. Whatever these blocks are, they need to be recognized and cleared.

First thing's first!  Own up to your mistakes.  You don’t have to make yourself feel badly forever, but let’s have an honest conversation here.  You picked the wrong degree or the wrong partner, that is ok, it happened, but to see it from the perspective of what things you can clear your path  to bring change you have to be real about this.

Map out what is blocking you and start to clear it one by one. Next week's blog will give you some help in figuring out what is blocking you and how to take responsibility for past actions in order to clear away present and future obstacles.
